From paperback to hardcover

I definitely prefer a hardcover for special books that you like to protect and keep in good shape or to surprise the writer!

Last Friday writer Judith Visser and her wolfdog Yuriko visited the Dutch bookstore Boekhandel van Rietschoten as part of her booktour. Her new book ‘Het meisje met de halve ster’, a beautiful novel about Debra and the wolf Chaver, has just been published.

I bound the originial paperback into a hardcover to be presented to Judith. Best compliment that it will be on her special shelf in her writing den!
